Sound Bath promotes deep relaxation, expansion of consciousness and peace.
A sound bath is a group healing experience that uses sound to induce a meditative state. It’s an almost effortless way to achieve a deeper meditation as the sounds help to facilitate shifts in
our brainwaves. By using rhythm and frequency, we can entrain our brainwaves to downshift our normal consciousness to a meditative state making it possible for internal healing and insight to
take place.A sound therapy treatment is both a passive and participatory experience. The passive aspect is that you become more relaxed by laying down and slowing your breath. By doing this, you
prepare yourself to become the receiver of sound. It’s in this place of stillness that you participate by becoming more open and aware of each sound that comes in. Sound helps create the pathway
to this place of stillness the same as a mantra helps you to arrive at the still point of meditation.
During this workshop, instruments such as quartz crystal singing bowls will be played and vocal toning exercises will also explore using your own voice as a healing instrument.
The intention is to help balance your chakra energy centers, clear your mind, and gently release stuck emotions and blocked energy that no longer serve you. It’s also a great way to tap into your
inner creativity. Various mindfulness techniques and guided meditations may be integrated depending on the time of year.
